IKEA invest Catania Sicily

Ikea, the swedish, retailer invest over 70million in Sicily, Italy, opening a new retail store near Catania, Sicily. This is a major milestone for international investment in Sicily as Ikea have finally managed to overcome local administration issues. The store is due for completion in 2011 and only on Monday 250 jobs were announced for the store increasing the economy in Sicily. Prior to Catania the most South Italy Ikea store was in Naples. International investment in Sicily continues to increase as Ryanair invest in Trapani (TPS) airport and Roccaforte recently opened a resort near Sciacca, to name but a few.
